Conservation
Greene County Conservation currently manages 19 areas (parks, trails, wildlife management areas, and river accesses) encompassing some 1,549 acres. Greene County is home to Iowa's second oldest county park - Squirrel Hollow - built by Civil Works Administration crews in 1934.

The North Raccoon River meanders through Greene County, providing many water recreation opportunities throughout the county.Additional information about programs, services and facilities offered by the Greene CCB are available at mycountyparks.com
